ABOUT

WHY ONLYCOMZ?

Because workplace communication is interesting.

People are interesting. And the space between what we mean to say and what somebody actually hears is really interesting. That’s where OnlyComz likes to work. We’re curious about how people notice information, make sense of change, decide what matters and find their voice at work. Not because there’s one perfect way to communicate. There really isn’t. But asking better questions usually gets us somewhere useful.

YOUR EMPLOYEESNEVER SUBSCRIBED.

So earn their attention.

People don't read because you sent something.

They don't care because the CEO signed it.

And putting IMPORTANT in the subject line isn't a strategy.

People pay attention when something feels worth their attention.

But technology alone won’t solve it.

That's where we come in.

HUMAN BEHAVIOUR

PEOPLE HAVE A LOT GOING ON.

Your people do.

Every message arrives in the middle of somebody’s day.

THE MAP YOU HAVE

Drawable. Tidy. Indispensable for budgets and org announcements.

  • THE ORGANISATION
  • FUNCTION
  • TEAM
  • MANAGER
  • EMPLOYEE

Spot the human.

THE FIELD THEY'RE ACTUALLY IN

Everything here wants the same three seconds.

  • A meeting.
  • A deadline.
  • A customer.
  • A conversation.
  • A school run.
  • A hundred notifications.
  • A cup of tea they’ve reheated twice.

All at once, all day. That's the competition.

That context matters. So when we work on communication, we think about the person receiving it as much as the person sending it.

Org charts are useful. They tell us where people sit. They don’t tell us what somebody is thinking when a message arrives, what else is competing for their attention or what they might need before something makes sense. So we stay curious about both. The organisation on paper. And the humans inside it.

Not an audience segment. A person.

BEHAVIOUR, NOT JUST STRUCTURE.

That's the method, not the slogan.

ABOUT

EMPLOYEES AREPEOPLE TOO.

Controversial, apparently.

Workplace communication has become incredibly easy to send and incredibly easy to ignore.

THREE THINGS THAT DO NOT FOLLOW FROM EACH OTHER

  • MORE CHANNELS

    Not automatically better communication.

  • MORE MESSAGES

    Not automatically more understanding.

  • MORE MEETINGS

    Not automatically more attention.

WHAT WE BELIEVE.

Workplace communication deserves care. It deserves creativity. It deserves clear thinking. And it deserves a little more curiosity about the people on the receiving end. Not every message needs fireworks. Sometimes the kindest, smartest thing you can do is make something simpler.

GOOD COMMS.BETTER WORK LIVES.

THE FOUNDER

I’VE BEEN ON THE INSIDE.

Lindsey Pearce, founder of OnlyComz

I’ve spent years working in internal communications, trying to get important messages to people who already have plenty competing for their attention.

I’ve written the emails. Built the campaigns. Briefed leaders. Made the videos. Run the events. Worked through change. And tried to reach people behind desks, on the frontline and everywhere in between.

What I’ve learned is that getting communication out is rarely the interesting part.

The interesting part is what happens next.

Did it make sense?

Did it feel relevant?

Did people have questions?

Did they feel able to ask them?

Did anything change?

That curiosity is why I created OnlyComz.

Not because I think there’s one right way to do internal comms.

There isn’t.

I just really like helping people find the clearest, most thoughtful and most interesting way through.

Less noise. More relevance.
